We've been following the latest county and city authorities. We understand that parks and trails will open this Saturday, May 9th. However, group gatherings are still forbidden and only members cohabitation in the same household are allowed outside together. We can’t wait to get out there and paint but the safety of our community is our first priority.
We'll continue our current programing until further changes.

Hello Painters,
We've decided to move some of our painting workshops online. Next week we're tentatively launching our first session. More details to come.
In the meantime, we're suggesting you not only stock up on edible and household items, but keep a thought on stocking up art supplies also. We noticed a lot of conversation around social isolation and how challenging it's becoming for some people. We honestly and genuinely think everyone should consider giving a quick review to their art supplies at home and check if there are well stocked in preparation for an insulated period.
Here is a link to our Roofless Kit. This could be a good time to get it in order join our sessions remotely and also to make sure your isolation doesn't include being in a desolated creative void.

Hello Painters,
The health of our community is critical to us. We keep ourselves constantly informed and educated about the current COVID-19 cases in LA County and how the health experts and local health authorities are managing the current state of emergency in our city and our county.
The risk of virus contagion remains very low, and until more specific measures may potentially be proposed by local and state officials, we will continue our painting workshops while following all the common-sense guidelines to lower the risk of exposure to cold, flu, or COVID-19.
Here are a few extra cautionary measures:
• Our greeting etiquette will avoid skin to skin and close contact. Please don't be offended if we don't kiss, hug, or shake hands with you.
• We have temporarily limited our group capacity to eight people only.
• Our drop cloths keep our easels separated from each other by a distance of 5' minimum.
• We will increase that distance whenever the size of the venue allows it.
• We carry hand-sanitizer at all times.
• We carry soapy wet towels at all times.
• We wash our paintbrushes with soap EVERY TIME after each session, including all the handles.
• Every art supply surface you touch during our painting workshops gets treated.
• We carry latex gloves at all times.
• We will bring additional disposable, heavy-duty, single-use paper towels to use when painting. In addition, we discard and replace our cotton rags regularly.
• We carry Lysol spray. We disinfect any tools used during the preparation of each workshop.
• We steam our painting smocks after each session and wash them frequently.
As of today, the COVID-19 cases in LA county have been connected to people who have traveled to areas currently affected by the virus.
• Please implement your hygiene, greeting, respiratory etiquette protocols, or social avoidance considerations if you become aware of having had contact with someone traveling back from an area currently affected by the virus.
• And if you just came back from an emergency-declared area affected by the virus, consider a cautionary social avoidance period over the next few weeks.
• If you have cold symptoms, dry cough, itchy throat, or cold-related headaches, PLEASE STAY HOME.
• If you JUST had a cold or the flu, please consider delaying your social activities a few extra days.
• We will continue practicing and encouraging good respiratory etiquette: please cough or sneeze into your elbow to avoid spraying particles into the air, and use hand sanitizer right after. We carry our own trash bags so you can throw any used tissue.
We are temporarily suspending, NOT CANCELLING, any announcements and details related to our upcoming international painting courses. We will be making announcements as per how travel and local advisories develop.
We will continue to get educated about all aspects of this health crisis and to implement as many additional measures as we can to make sure we can keep enjoying painting together in as safely way as possible.
We will keep everyone updated of any changes.
