We're using ZOOM as the video platform. Video and audio for participants will be muted by default during the live webinar. You'll be able to view and listen to the presentation and interact via chat. The session will be recorded and up for replay anytime after the live webinar ends.

ON THE COUCH
To celebrate Pride Month, we started featuring queer painters that have either been omitted by art history, or their queerness ignored.
We started the series with Ethel Sands, and we remembered a painting by her that was the inspiration a few years ago for a painting series.
Maybe even more than our beds, our couches are the ultimate symbol of comfort in our homes. They are the sources of our innermost hominess and togetherness, our refuge. They may be the most valuable pieces of furniture we have.
We are going to paint them.
- Painting premise: Interior.
- Props: a photo of your couch.
- Painting surface: any size, any kind. We recommend 9x12 or under.
- Painting webinar medium: oil over cotton paper. Feel free to select your media.
