AIRPLANE WINDOWS
There has definitely been more air travel this summer. After so long being grounded (eye-rolling pun, yes), it's easy to imagine how special that first flight back must have been.
Images of plane windows framing aerial views have recently reappeared on social media. We feel we have taken those images for granted and now we have a new appreciation for them.
Jeffrey Morabito, an artist who painted and featured airplane widows in a group show last year, captured our attention then. We fell in love with those paintings, and we think now is the right time to use them as inspiration for this painting collection.
Gather any photos you may have of plane windows, perhaps taken by you or a loved one. A library of images will also be available for us to choose from.
