There's a verse in the 1968 song MacArthur Park that says, "Someone left the cake out in the rain." That's the title of a tryptic by contemporary artist Jill Mulleady currently on display at the Hammer Museum exhibition Made in LA. Mulleady’s triptych is a depiction of present-day MacArthur Park, a neighborhood with a rich and varied history. Once a high-end destination, it gradually became a run-down neighborhood.
We are using proxy photos taken at the park and tagged with #MacArthurPark to portray contemporary scenes of the park.
