Lois Keller Bio
After cultivating a reputation for her work at some of America’s most prestigious theatres and historic landmarks, Lois Keller gave up a burgeoning career as a scenic artist to raise a family and devote herself to her own painting. Lois has combined the technical virtuosity she refined in the theatre with her own vision to develop a truly distinctive style. Working from her daily sketchbook practice, she creates a universal appeal to personal events. She has recently exhibited a solo show of oil paintings at the University of Chicago and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology entitled “Quiddity: the true nature of a thing,” a series of paintings exploring adoption. She is now living and painting in Los Angeles while actively engaging in community art-making. @lois.keller
