Last Stop, Water Tower, by Laura Cerón
18" x 24", charcoal on paper, unframed 2018
This charcoal drawing series inspired by the New Topographics movement of the 1970s that influenced landscape photography, and painting, to this day. We got inspired by images of water towers taken by Bern and Hilla Becher, an iconic reference of the movement and a must series to understand the evolution of 20th art after the second industrial revolution.
