SCOOTER POSE is a painting series inspired by the recent emergence of a new form of urban transportation erupting in LA after landing in previous cities: the electric scooter. This painting premise stems from our passion as painters to visually capture present moments and events around us that we believe define contemporaneity. Besides where you may stand in the conversation between revolution vs. disruption, a discussion that has happened many times in modern human history when innovation has broken through daily urban routines, we believe any change in our urban landscape presents an excellent opportunity for updating the subject matter and narrative of our paintings.
