SAUSAGED MESSAGE is a painting series inspired by a Iiu Susiraua photo titled ‘Ex-boyfriend’. We used hotdogs and painted messages on them. We then selected a plate and arranged still lives that we painted from life. NO ANIMALS WERE HURT IN THE COURSE OF THIS PAINTING SERIES: the hotdogs were be plant-based.
