ROOFLESS IN THE COURTYARD, MON November 12, 12-3pm at Bob Baker Marionette Theater
Come paint with us in the courtyard of the Bob Baker Marionette Theater.
The theater is rolling down its sails after 55 years of happy cruising, ready to find new winds. This last month of festivities includes many opportunities to experience the magic of the theater in its original location.
Before the +3000 artsy marionettes and their helping elves move to a new mothership, we have one last chance to document the original facade.
Join us for a day of celebration through painting. We’ll be at the courtyard of the theater, painting its elongated striped awnings, the fairy tale pink doors, and the marionette flowers that never wilt, before all disappear.
It’s an enchanting sight that has been charming passersby for decades. A portal to a world of Magic away from the actual circus outside. Let’s paint the facade of the theater from life one last time so it can live forever.
